品悟茶禪一味

茶,作為主要的飲品之一已有幾千年歷史 . . .

中國是茶的發源地,中國人最早種茶,製茶,飲茶。茶,已經是世界各國文化的重要部分,影響甚至改變其風俗禮儀和商貿往來。一直以來,茶深受歡迎的原因不止是其味道吸引,更是由於茶對人的身體和情志健康非常有益。據現代研究揭示,飲茶有以下的好處:

  • 茶 使人鎮定並且注意力集中
  • 茶 可以減少認知障礙的機率
  • 茶 能夠降低壓力荷爾蒙水平
  • 茶 緩和情緒/頭疼/緊張/失眠
  • 茶 可以短暫增強記憶能力

中國人飲茶的歷史久遠,據經書記載,西漢時期就有人開始飲茶,到了唐代,飲茶的風氣更是盛極一時,故出現了唐朝陸羽的《茶經》,此經記錄了當時飲茶作為日常生活的禮儀。

“茶之為飲,發乎神農氏,聞於魯周公” 《茶經》把神農氏列為發現茶之功效的第一人。

茶樹的品種在中國有三百多種,可生產出1500種不同的茶葉。而茶葉又依據不同的製造方法(發酵程度等)作不同分類。如,綠茶屬於未發酵茶,而烏龍茶屬於半未發酵茶;紅茶是完成發酵的,而普洱茶是後發酵茶。

中國著名的綠茶有龍井茶(杭州) 和碧螺春(洞庭);烏龍茶有包種茶(安溪),台灣的白毫烏龍(東方美人) ,高山茶和凍頂烏龍茶;普洱茶(雲南思茅/西雙版納);大吉嶺紅茶,錫蘭的鳥巴茶和中國的祁門紅茶,並列為世界最好的三大紅茶。

禪,品茶之靜心養神

中國茶藝,博大精深。雖然中國是茶的故鄉,茶文化的發源地。但其他國家,如日本的茶道也很有特色。日本茶道,以「和、敬、清、寂」四字為宗旨。日本人把茶道視為一種修身養性、淨化心靈,提高文化素養和進行社交的手段。它將日常生活與宗教、哲學、倫理和美學完美地聯繫起來。

以茶養心,重在調節情志。無須很大的地方,無須太多的花費。在準備茶具、泡茶、觀賞、品茗的過程中,身心都得到了放鬆。以茶會友,探討茶的品質、切磋泡茶技藝等,更為生活平添了幾分樂趣。在茶藝潛移默化的影響下,人的心境和性格也會隨之而改變。

品茶悟道,猶如靜坐參禪。生活中我們常常可以看到一些終身以茶為伴的人,性情比較平和、冷靜。給人一種寧靜、隨和、簡潔的感覺。

「養生貴乎養神」,不懂得養神之重要,單靠飲食營養、藥物滋補,是難以健康長壽的。中醫養生學關於「精」、「神」、「魂」、「魄」、「心」、「意」、「志」、「思」、「慮」、「智」的解釋,有助於理解人的精神思維活動在養生長壽中的重要意義。

《靈樞.本神篇》: 「故生之來謂之精,兩精相搏謂之神,隨神往來者謂之魂,並精而出入者謂之魄,所以任物者謂之心,心有所憶謂之意,意之所存謂之志,因志而存變謂之思,因思而遠慕謂之慮,因慮而處物謂之智。故智者之養生也,必順四時而適寒暑,和喜怒而安居處,節陰陽而調剛柔。如是則辟邪不至,長生久視」。

而養神最關鍵的是清靜。清靜,是指精神情志保持淡泊寧靜的狀態。恬淡虛無之要在於養心,暢達情志,使精神內守而不散失,保持人體形神合一的最佳狀態。品茶悟道,以期靜心養神之效。

Tea can create a calmer but more alert state of mind.
Studies have shown that the amino acid L-theanine found in the tea plant alters the attention networks in the brain and can have demonstrable effects on the brain waves. More simply, tea can help you relax and concentrate more fully on tasks.
Tea lowers the chance of having cognitive impairment.
Research on Japanese adults who consumed at least 2 cups of green tea daily found that those individuals had cut their risk of cognitive impairment by half.
Tea lowers stress hormone levels.
Black tea has been shown to reduce the effects of a stressful event. Participants in a study experienced a 20% drop in cortisol, a stress hormone, after drinking 4 cups of tea daily for one month.
Tea eases irritability, headaches, nervous tension and insomnia.
Red tea, also known as rooibos, is an herbal tea that originated in Africa. It has been show to have many relaxing effects that help reduce a wide range of irritations and inflammations on the body.
Tea can cause a temporary increase in short term memory.
Try drinking some tea. The caffeine it contains may give you the boost you need to improve your memory, at least for a few hours.
